The Emma Grace Foundation Easter egg hunt, one of the largest of 10 local gatherings, was filled with happiness and laughter as area children gathered around 20,000 eggs on the Central Middle School football field Saturday.

The event and the Foundation support a variety of children’s causes on memory of Emma Grace Sweet, who passed away in 2021 at age 2.

Tickets found in the eggs could be turned in for candy, toys and other prizes, and children who found the golden eggs received special prizes.

Photos with the Easter Bunny and shaved ice from Kona Ice were also available at the event.
