COLUMBUS
Zedric David Botkin, 83, of Columbus entered eternal life on April 17,2024 at 6:05pm at St. Francis Hospital.
Dave was born July 24, 1940, in Indianapolis where he lived until moving to Edinburgh in the early 1970s and later to Columbus.
On February 24, 1961, he married Loretta Joyce Mendenhall and they recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.
Surviving children include Penelope Hundley (Scott) of Columbus, Zedric Duane “Hap” Botkin of Columbus and Barbie (Jon) Stradtner of Zephryhills Florida.
David loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply. Grandchildren include Paige Barker (Matthias), Chloe Hundley (McKalah Meier), Grace Rosen (Irving) and Perry Stradtner (Evelin). Great grandchildren are Loretta Barker, Winslow Barker and Atlas Stradtner.
To honor his memory, a celebration of life service will be held Saturday May 11th at 11am at Community Church of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Transformational Living Ministries (TLM), 3129 25th Street, Suite 379, Columbus, Indiana 47203.
