HOPE — Hauser wrapped up an undefeated Mid-Hoosier Conference softball season Monday with a doubleheader sweep at Morristown, winning 8-0 and 15-1.
Paige McDaniel threw a two-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs in the opener. Izzy Brunner went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, Maley Jordan went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Lucie Asher went 2 for 4.
Haven Hartwell and McDaniel combined on a three-hitter in the second game. Asher went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Brunner went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Jordan had three RBIs and Allie Zapfe added two RBIs for the Jets (18-6, 10-0).
