Jets fall to Milan in sectional semifinals

VERSAILLES — Hauser saw its baseball season come to an end Monday with a 2-1 loss to Milan in the semifinals of the South Ripley Sectional.

The Indians took a 2-0 lead with single runs in the top of the second and third innings. The Jets plated a run in the bottom of the third on an RBI by Kam Blair, but were unable to score the rest of the way.

Sam Louden started on the mound for Hauser and allowed eight hits and two runs (one earned), striking out four and walking none in six innings. RJ Foster pitched a scoreless, hitless seventh.

The Jets (18-10) were limited to four hits — singles by Stryker Gill, Simeon Wasil, Lukas Christian and Foster. Gill threw out two runners trying to steal.
