TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) No. 168 — 10 to 11:45 a.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.

Notary available at Hope Library — 2 to 3 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come to Hope Branch Library on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. to get items notarized by staff member notary Jennifer Pardue. Please bring photo ID. This is a Hope walk-in hour with no appointment required.

Mulch and Compost Loading — 2 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Yard Waste Site, 720 S. Mapleton St., Columbus. Bartholomew County residents are welcome to self-load mulch and/or compost from the yard waste site free of charge, $10 per pick-up truck size load of mulch or compost. Electric Symphony — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us on the library plaza for a concert by Electric Symphony, a teen rock band heavily inspired by the music of the ’70s-’90s. Bring your chairs, your supper, and an appropriate beverage if you wish.
