BEDFORD — Jennings County senior Tatum Brown came within one win of qualifying for the Girls Tennis Singles State Finals before bowing out in the Bedford North Lawrence Regional final on Saturday.
Brown beat Salem’s Sidney Burton 6-3, 7-6 (2) in the semifinals. She fell to Washington’s unbeaten Lacy Hancock 6-1, 6-2 in the final to finish her season 18-4.
