Donald Wayne Davidson, 75, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Willow Crossing Health &Rehab. Donald was born May 16, 1949 to Earl and Bonnie Davidson. He is survived by his brother, Glenn Davidson; and his three children, Angela West, Leslie Young, and Joel Davidson. He is now joining Kathryn Davidson; his mother, Bonnie; and his father, Earl in his heavenly home.

Don graduated from Brownstown High School in 1967 and went on to get his college degree at the University of Indianapolis. Most people knew Don as a realtor in Columbus for over 40 years, but his main passion was music. He could hear a song and sit down and play it on the piano effortlessly ,it was like watching magic. His talents extended him the opportunity to write with John Mellencamp, and perform at many places throughout his journey.

To celebrate Don’s life, a memorial service will be held Thursday, June 20 at 6 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Rev. Virgin Clotfelter officiating. Friends may gather for visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Don’s passion of music lives on for future generations, but today’s song is for him. May he forevermore live in our hearts and continue to share his passion of music.
