Hauser AD leaving for Monrovia

Tyler Phillips, who has spent the past five years as athletics director at Hauser, is leaving.

Phillips announced in a text late Friday afternoon that he has accepted the athletics director position at Monrovia, a growing Class 2A school west of Indianapolis in Morgan County.

Prior to coming to Hauser, Phillips had been boys basketball coach at Mitchell, South Spencer and Seymour. He also had been the JV coach at Columbus East from 2010-12 and taught at Central Middle School.

Phillips came to Hauser in May 2019.
