Tony Stewart is going to be a father.
The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and his wife, veteran drag races Leah Pruett, announced Monday afternoon that they are going to be parents of a baby boy. She is due in November.
The couple met in 2020 and were engaged in 2021. They were married in November 2021.
Stewart is expected to be in town on Tuesday for his series’ Three-Quarter Midget race at Tony Stewart Speedway at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with racing set for 7 p.m.
