The Columbus East girls soccer team will host a free soccer camp on Saturday at the BCSC Soccer Complex for girls who are interested in trying soccer or polishing their skills.
Girls from ages 10-14 will be from 9-10:45 a.m., and girls from ages 6-9 will be from 10:45 a.m.-noon. The camp will be run by the Olympians’ coaching staff and assisted by current players.
A donation of at least one can or box of a non perishable food item will be accepted as an entry fee that will be donated to Columbus East Food Pantry.
No pre-registration is required, but a liability release form will need to be signed by a parent in the morning of the camp. Own soccer shoes, shin guards and water bottles are encouraged.
Incase of bad weather, the camp will be moved to the auxiliary gym at East, and indoor soccer shoes will be needed.
