COLUMBIA, KY
Rebecca Diane Humphress, 68, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at T. J. Health Columbia, Kentucky. She was born on February 27, 1956, to the late James T. and Shirley McKim Thayer of Hope, Indiana.
Mrs. Humphress was a member of 3trees Church and the Adair County, Kentucky History and Genealogy Center. She was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed crafting, the beach, Disney and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Charles Humphress of Columbia, KY; six children Tresa Ratliff (Greg) of Columbia, KY, Dwayne Humphress and Jeremiah Harker both of Columbus, IN, Brent Humphress (Christy) of Indianapolis, IN, Dottie Hawkins (Brandon) of Columbus, IN, and Jordan Humphress (Sydney) of Columbia, KY; fourteen grandchildren Shauna Nunn, Sara Davis, Mike Ratliff, Michael Humphress, Kylah Humphress, Christian Williams, Elijah Williams, Chryseise Riddle, Adonah Riddle, Serenity Hawkins, Kal-El Hawkins, Christopher Riddle, Xena Hawkins, and Layla Harker: three siblings Roger Thayer (Kelly) of Hope, IN, Mike Thayer (Lisa) of Columbus, IN, and Patricia Weber (Tom) of St. Petersburg, FL; four great grandchildren and several other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728 with burial in the Hardin Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday after 12:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
