Three Indiana poets are hosting a Community Open Mic Poetry and Acoustic Music Picnic from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the River Vista Shelter in Mill Race Park.
The organizers, Chris Dean, Wendy Cartwright, and Michael Duckwall, encourage attendees to bring poetry and instruments.
John Hinton, President of the Poetry Society of Indiana, will be opening the event.
