State Police seek public’s assistance in locating endangered Cass County juvenile

Muir

CASS COUNTY — Indiana State Police issued a Silver Alert Friday for Bryson Muir, who is still considered missing and endangered.

Earlier Friday, Daniel and Kristen Muir had agreed to bring their 14-year-old son Bryson to meet with ISP investigators at the Peru Post.  The agreement was to meet at noon.  At approximately 11 a.m., the Muirs backed out of that arrangement which signaled an unwillingness to cooperate.

This investigation is still ongoing, and ISP still encourages the public to come forward with any information as to the whereabouts of Bryson Muir by calling either the Peru Post at 800-382-0689 or 911.

Earlier ISP and Cass County Department of Child Services (DCS) were able to make a site visit at the Muir’s residence, located on the property of the Servant Leader’s Foundation in Logansport.

Bryson Muir was last seen Sunday, June 16, leaving a family member’s residence in Ohio with his mother, Kristen Muir in a white 2015 Chevrolet Suburban belonging to Servant Leader’s Foundation in Kokomo.  Shortly after leaving this residence, this vehicle was pulled over by the Garfield Heights (OH) Police Department, but Bryson was not in the vehicle.

On or about June 18, investigators with ISP were requested by the Cass County Department of Child Services to investigate allegations of domestic battery to Bryson, which was alleged to have occurred in the child’s home located in the 1700 block of west U.S. Highway 24 in Logansport; property owned by the Servant Leader’s Foundation.

With the assistance of the Cass County Sheriff Department and the Cass County Department of Child Services, ISP has yet to locate Bryson.  If you or someone you know has information as to the whereabouts of Bryson Muir or his parents, please contact the Indiana State Police, Peru Post at: 1-800-382-0689 or call 911.
