* As much as my cats will hate me for this, not to mention all my friends’ dogs, how can I not remind you — like you need it — that it’s time for a fireworks fiesta? Columbus Regional Health Presents QMIX Musical Fireworks 34: Midwest Meltdown beginning with food, games and more beginning at 6 p.m. today at Ivy Tech Community College at 4555 Central Ave. in Columbus and the actual pyrotechnics at 10 p.m. at AirPark Columbus. And most of you already know that Cera Sports Park and Campground will host its own fire-in-the-sky extravaganza at 10 p.m. Thursday at its multifaceted grounds — pool, concerts, go karts, you name it — at 3989 S. County Road 525E in Columbus. Information: ceraland.org.

* Here’s your heads-up for a bit of early planning: 2024 Farmjam will feature The Revelators (shown here) and One Night Only with Allen Purtlebaugh from 6 to 10 p.m. July 13 at the Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W near Edinburgh. Proceeds from the night of music, food and beer will benefit the Bartholomew County Historical Society. Divine Barbecue is on the menu, plus Hog Molly beers, and Swine and Dine wine and drinks. All ages are welcome, but those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
