Mike and Donita Compton of Columbus are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They plan to celebrate later this summer in West Baden, Indiana.
Mr. Compton and the former Donita Moore were married June 23, 1984, at Hope Baptist Church, by the late Rev. Meredith Wilfong.
Mr. Compton is a retired City of Columbus Fire Chief.
Mrs. Compton is retired from Kirr, Marbach & Co. LLC.
