Bartholomew County

Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11, and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

Rockin’ Storytime with Mr. Dave — 10 to 10:30 a.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Enjoy a special storytime with Mr. Dave at the Hope Town Square bandstand every Thursday this summer.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.

Teen Thursgame — 1 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Every Thursday after school, play games including Dungeon Party, Unstable Unicorns, Wizard Kittens, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Here to Slay, and more.

Journey — 2 to 4 p.m., The Landmark, 729 Washington St., Columbus. Turning Point is excited to offer an interactive, peer-to-peer support system created to guide teens through some of the difficulties of life. Free and open to all local youth. Once-per-week attendance is encouraged. Information at https://www.turningpointdv.org/teens.

Columbus Park Board — 4 p.m., City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus.

Tween Duckorating — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Dress up a rubber duck as your favorite character, celebrity, or a super spy. All materials provided.

Family Exercise and Movement — 4:45 to 5:15 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 4-10 and their friends and family members are welcome to join in and have fun at this kid-friendly exercise and wellness program with guest Ruth Bayardo. Participants will get up and moving, as well as learn about exercise and other wellness topics. Dress comfortably for movement.

Night of Service — 5 to 6:30 p.m., The Forge Event Center, 418 Fourth St., Columbus. The Kiwanis Clubs of Columbus are hosting a Night of Service for local individuals and families to help four worthwhile charitable organizations. Join us for an evening of food, fun, networking, and service. Bring any new school supplies that you can donate, for the Bartholomew County School Supply Assistance Program.
