Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators — 9:30 to 10:15 and 11 to 11:45 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Educators from Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators will be visiting the library with some of their animal ambassadors. Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators is dedicated to providing expert veterinary care, rehabilitation and release for orphaned, sick and injured native Indiana reptiles, mammals, birds and birds of prey.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) No. 168 — 10 to 11:45 a.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. Enter Door A, off Fourth Street parking lot. Information, call 812-375-9887.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.

Notary available at Hope Library — 2 to 3 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come to Hope Branch Library on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. to get items notarized by staff member notary Jennifer Pardue. Please bring photo ID. This is a Hope walk-in hour with no appointment required.

Mulch and Compost Loading — 2 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Yard Waste Site, 720 S. Mapleton St., Columbus. Bartholomew County residents are welcome to self-load mulch and/or compost from our Yard Waste Site free of charge. $10 per pick-up truck size load of mulch or compost. Tween Stitch Camp — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Tweens can join library staff to learn and practice the basics of both crocheting and knitting. Beginners welcome, no experience needed. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
