IU Columbus to have walk-in event

Indiana University Columbus will have walk-in hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 22 to 26 for admitted and prospective students to meet individually with admissions counselors.

The theme of the week is “Plant Your Roots at IU Columbus,” and every attendee will receive seeds for a redbud and a tulip tree, planting cups, soil, and a flyer with growth instructions, along with wildflower seed paper. Registration is not required but is encouraged. To register, visit go.iu.edu/columbus-visit.

Students and families can learn about undergraduate and graduate programs, get hands-on assistance with the application process, take a campus tour, and have their questions answered. A Spanish-speaking counselor and materials in Spanish are also available upon request.

Participants should meet at the Admissions Office (located inside Door 3 in the Campus Center Building at 4601 Central Ave.). If these dates/times aren’t convenient, prospective students are always welcome to schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor; virtual and in-personal meetings are available.
