Pamela Kae Weld

COLUMBUS

Pamela Kae Weld, age 63, of Columbus IN, had her triumphant entry into Heaven the morning of Saturday, July 6th, 2024.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday , July 20th at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour, IN. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 followed by a short service and a time of fellowship and food to honor our beloved Pam ending at 2:30p.

Pam found the Lord when she met her adoring husband, Jim Weld. He introduced her to a relationship with Jesus and she was fully transformed, a workmanship in progress being a beautiful example to her 4 children of which all followed by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Upon her conversion, her constant prayer was Joel 2: 25 “So I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten….”, the Lord is fulfilling this hope and promise.

Her children are her testimony, and her grand and great grandchildren are her legacy. This family’s redemption story is one for the ages and they know they will all be reunited in Glory one day and will continue to carry the legacy of Pam’s beautiful life. If she were standing here reading this, Pam would say, “The only good in me is Christ.”!

Pam participated in many things over her lifetime but some of her favorites were ministries. In past years, she had a passion to serve others in areas Celebrate Recovery in the Jail and fully enjoyed being part of REC, Residents Encounter Christ, a ministry that shared the love of Jesus and His gospel truth with those in jail. Any church she was involved in you would find her connecting easily with anyone but notably with children, youth, and women’s ministry. She enjoyed serving alongside her husband as he pastored at churches and they were presently serving at Brown’s Corner Chapel of Scipio, IN.
