Paul Dean Malcomb passed from this life on July 1, 2024, with our hospice care. Born In Scottsburg, Indiana to Junior Roe Malcomb & Lelia Pearl Malcomb (Peacock). He was 1 of 6 kids. Proceeded in death by a brother Larry Malcomb of Deputy, Indiana. Paul leaves behind a son, John Malcomb & daughter Ginger Sims Malcomb (Tony). Grandkids Deandre Dawson, Ben Dawson, Steven Sims, Dalton Sims, Madeline Malcomb, & Evelyn Hammon. With 7 great-grandkids. He was a beloved uncle, poppy, father, son & brother. Paul graduated Barber school in 1969 with most of his years barbering in Columbus, Indiana. Paul had many beloved friends through the years & held on to the good memories. Paul had a giving heart & always wanted to send you off with a gift whether it be dinner, free haircut, or something from his collection of things he had lying around his barber shop. Paul had a love of the outdoors, fishing canoeing, and shooting guns. Music & dancing. He lived his life to the fullest. Paul enjoyed woodworking making items from wooden bowls to walking sticks & anything in between. A celebration of life will be September 22, at 2 PM at Heflin Park Shelter House.
