NORTH VERNON
Carlena Sue (Brown) Stigdon, 67, of North Vernon, Indiana passed from her life on July, 17, 2024 at 2:51 a.m. at St. Franciscan Health.
Carlena was born in Columbus, Indiana to the late, Carl Brown and Juanitta (Smith) Brown. She was 1 of 4 children. she was proceeded in death by both of her parents; sister, Jackie (Brown) Dixon; two sisters-in-law, Misty Kay Stigdon and Madonna Jo Stigdon; and a brother, David Brown. She left behind her loving husband of 43 years, Michael Stigdon; a daughter, Felisha (Adam) Lucas; two sons, Justin and Thomas Chandler; sister, Connie Huckaby; three sisters-in-law, Michelle Waggoner, Marcia (Chris) Baker and Melissa (Jeff)Wright; four granddaughters, Kyra (Nick) Heiny, Kynzee Gates, Addyson Deweese, and Allyssa Deweese; an aunt, Zondie; 17 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Carlena loved playing bingo, fishing and going to the casino. She worked at Yin Chang for 12 years and before that she was a food vendor at Avi for many years.
Carlena was full of love and enjoyed her time with her family. She will be extremely missed by her family and friends.
