Bartholomew County

Toddler Time — 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. and 10 to 10:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a toddler-friendly introduction to storytime. Toddler time features books and activities geared toward children ages 18 months to 3 years old.

Columbus Board of Works — 10 a.m., City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus.

Journey — 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m., The Landmark, 729 Washington St., Columbus. Turning Point is excited to offer an interactive, peer-to-peer support system created to guide teens through some of the difficulties of life. Free and open to all local youth. Preschool Storytime — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 3-5 are invited to join us at the library for Preschool Storytime. These storytimes build the early literacy skills that promote school readiness through fun stories, songs, rhymes, and movement.

Teen Chef — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn to make a smoothie with frozen fruit. All supplies provided.

Chair Yoga — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. A one-hour session with a certified yoga and chair yoga instructor. These sessions are great for beginners and those who want to focus on gentle practice.

Author Talk — 2 to 3 p.m., online. Join this year’s winner of the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature, Dan Santat, as he inspires tweens and teens to tell their own stories through graphic novels.

Beginning Again — 2 to 3:30 p.m., or 5:30 to 7 p.m., Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 17th St., Columbus. Beginning Again Group is for anyone who has lost a family member. In-person meetings with Zoom option also available. Contact hospice bereavement specialist David Dopson for more information on how to attend and preregister. Hope Town Quilt Square Workshop — 3 to 7 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Learn more about quilt making in this drop-in style workshop led by Sarah Marsom, heritage resource consultant. There will be options to make a felt applique, traditional piece quilting, or a fun coloring page. Each design will help celebrate the history of library service in Hope as part of our 125th Anniversary celebration series.

Adult Craft Night — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Make a beautiful and fun craft. All supplies provided. Registration required. This month, we will be making WaterColor Flowers.
