Behind the Scenes at the Space Station — 2 to 3 p.m., online. Revealing a new perspective into the world of space exploration and the daring astronauts who make it possible, Dr. Jennifer Levasseur will guide you through the Smithsonian’s Behind the Scenes at the Space Station and take you on a once-in-a-lifetime virtual tour of the International Space Station.

Teen 1st Day of School Ice Cream Party — 3 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us for our annual ice cream party on the first day of school. We will have vanilla ice cream and toppings available immediately after school while supplies last.

Hope Craft Night — 3 to 4:30 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come out and get crafty with Shelly by making a succulent plant out of felt. This plant looks great and won’t even need to be watered.

Teen Watch-It Wednesday — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Enjoy summery movies after school with provided snacks and bevvies. Aug. 7’s movie is “Shrek.”

Builders’ Guild — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff and fellow builders to create, share, and have fun. Each session will feature a building challenge as well as free play.

Propeller Music Makerspace — 5 to 6:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Community members are invited to attend Propeller’s free weekly Music Makerspace. This weekly meet-up is for current, past or future musicians interested in an informal opportunity to play together. Musicians of all skill levels are welcome. Donations are welcomed. IDEM Environmental Stakeholder Program introduction — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Zoom and Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join the Winding Waters Group for a presentation aimed community-wide from Herb Engman, Environmental Stakeholder Inclusion Coordinator/OPS.
