Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County will receive a share of $201,786 raised by Indiana-based Crew Carwash in its 15th annual Crew for Kids fundraiser, the company said.
As part of the fundraiser, Crew committed to donating 50 percent of the proceeds from all Ultimate Washes sold on July 27 to Big Brothers Big Sisters, along with all cash and credit donations. The event took at all 48 Crew Carwash locations throughout Indiana and Minnesota.
Funds from the benefit will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in locations where the company has locations. The company has raised more than $1.2 million for the nonprofit since its inaugural Crew for Kids fundraiser.
