Donita and John Goddard.
John and Donita Goddard are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. There will be an open house scheduled at a later date.
Mr. Goddard and the former Donita Barkes were married Aug. 10, 1974, at East Columbus United Methodist Church.
The couple have two children, John Goddard and Dannyelle Justice, and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Goddard says he would do it all again.
