Kieper

Matthew Kieper (badge 303) is the Columbus Police Department’s newest police officer after he was sworn in Monday at City Hall by Mayor Mary Ferdon.

Kieper is a graduate of Faith Academy of Bellville in Texas, where he obtained his high school diploma. After high school, Kieper joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for four years. He continued his public service at the College Station Police Department as a police officer, and then the U.S Secret Service, where he was a uniformed officer protecting the White House.

Kieper will undergo a couple weeks of training with CPD instructors before hitting the streets and starting his field training.
