GREENCASTLE — Brown County opened its volleyball season Saturday with a 25-16, 25-15, 25-17 Western Indiana Conference loss at Greencastle.
Grace Johnson led the Eagles with 11 assists and three aces. Aubree Denton pounded six kills, and Zoe Jackson notched 18 digs.
Also for Brown County, Johnson and Emmy Oswald each recorded three kills; and Johnson, Denton and Isabelle Henderson all tallied four digs. Denton, Jackson and Henderson all served one ace.
