The city of Columbus will close its offices from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, for an employee picnic.
The Columbus City Utilities will close at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 so employees may attend thepicnic. The utilities offices will re-open at 1 p.m.
Customers with a problem with water or sewer service during this time and needing immediate assistance should call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
