Panthers blank Olympians

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East opened its boys tennis season Monday with a 5-0 loss at Bloomington South.

Tyler Ernst fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Trevor Ernst lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Michael Reed fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singls for the Olumpians.

East’s Owen Kirk and Micah Wettschurack at No. 1 doubles and Cooper Henry and Carson Hartsook at No. 2 doubles both lost by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
