NORTH VERNON — Jennings County opened its volleyball season Tuesday with a 25-9, 25-8, 25-12 win against Hauser.
Mallory Manowitz led the Panthers with 11 digs and five aces. Avynn Belding pounded 11 kills.
Also for Jennings, Kaydence Lowman added 10 kills, and Addison Martin served four aces.
Charleston Gelfius recorded three kills and one block, and Maley Jordan had one block and two aces to lead the Jets (1-4). Leah Manley tallied six assists, Kaidenze Shoaf had one block and Ruby McKinney notched four digs.
Also for Hauser, Jordan added two kills and three digs, and Shoaf and Kaycie Kistler each had one kill. McKinney posted one assist, Baylee Riley contributed three digs and Gelfius served one ace.
