Rena B. Dillman

HOPE

Rena B. Dillman, 79, of Hope passed away Saturday August 17, 2024 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born October 17, 1944 in Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of Clifton W. and Nola Riley Blake. She married Donald W. Dillman June 24, 1962 and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2008.

Rena is survived by son, Darrell (Dana) Dillman of Pittsboro; grandchildren, James Blake Dillman (Morgan Hunt) of Carmel and Jessica (Michael) Goss of Pittsboro; great grandchildren, Nora and Ivy Goss and Ryder Dillman; brothers, Roger (Betty) Blake of Greensburg, Ronald (Pat) Blake of Columbus, Greg (Luann) Blake of Port Charlotte, FL., Robert (Sherry) Blake of Laurel and Randall Blake of Batesville and several nieces and nephews.

Rena was an LPN and worked as a nurse and then became an artist. She was the owner and operator of Patchworks Art Studio where she painted and gave art lessons. Rena was an author who wrote 5 books.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Sanctuary Church.

Rena’s funeral will be Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the Sanctuary Church. There will be visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to the Sanctuary Vision Fund.

Rena was preceded in death by her parents; her husband her son, Jon Dillman; her brother, Darrell Blake and an infant sister.
