Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11, and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Conoce tu Futuro en Columbus — 5 to 8 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Tu Futuro te invita a conocer tu ciudad guiado por estudiantes latinos de preparatoria. Empezaremos por la biblioteca publica a las 5:30. Tu Futuro invites you to get to know your city guided by Latino high school students. We will start at the public library at 5:30.

Join archivist Tricia Gilson in a talk about the dreams library planners had regarding what the library could be and should be in the community. Metal Lathe Working 101 — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of working with a metal lathe including parts of the lathe machine, basic usage and safety guidelines. Cost is $20 for propeller members and $30 for non-members.
