BATESVILLE — The South Decatur boys and girls cross-country teeams each finished fourth in a quad meet with Greensburg, North Decatur and Batesville Thursday at Batesville.
Nick Hunter led the Cougar boys with a 14th-place finish in 20 minutes, 25 seconds for 5,000 meters (3.1 miles). Josh Chastain took 31st in 27:09, while Joe Morrow was 35th (29:51), Luke Poling 38th (31:08) and Michael Nobbe (31:17).
Kate Schoettmer finished 16th in 26:30 to lead the girls. Kenzie Stone took 25th in 29:59, while Bri Benefiel was 26th (30:16), Brooklyn Ortman 30th (31:33), Summer Masters 31st (32:59) and Andrea Brogan 32nd (33:56).
