Medalist round leads Eagles to second in WIC

BRAZIL — Lilly VanNess won Western Indiana Conference medalist honors for the second year in a row to lead Brown County to a second-place finish in the WIC girls golf tournament.

VanNess fired a 1-over-par 74 at Forest Park. The Eagles finished with a 401 team total, trailing only host Northview’s 371.

Chloe Poling finished fifth individually with a 94 to earn All-Conference honors. Also for Brown County, Caitlynn Lookebill added a 114, and Katie Johnson had a 119.
