Farm.

When Farm came to the shelter she was terrified of people. But one of our amazing foster homes (and very social kitties) quickly helped her learn people aren’t so bad. She is even comfortable around cat-friendly dogs. New things can still be scary so her ideal home would be one without children but she is great with other cats and dogs.

Mavis came to us following a severe dog attack that cost her a foreleg despite emergency surgery. She is now healed, has plenty of “tortitude” (which probably helped her survive) and gets along great! Mavis is ready for her forever home where she can be an only pet.

To schedule an appointment to meet these or any of our animals, please contact the shelter via [email protected] or call 812-372-6063. Appointment times are noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
