The Hayden Historical Museum hosted its Hayden Pioneer Days, which included the Luke Elsner Memorial 5K walk/run and a parade. The museum’s Sinclair gas station was open and offered bottles of soda pop in exchange for donations to the museum building fund drive.

1999

Columbus’ Eversley “Don” Haswell was named director of clinical services for Developmental Services Inc., where he would direct clinical services for DSI’s Life Management Counseling program. Haswell was previously a the director of Valley Counseling in Colorado and a psychotherapist for DSI.

1974

The local chapter of the Sigma Phi Gamma sorority conducted Founders’ Day services at Gene’s Cafeteria in The Commons, where the five founders of the organization were honored. Chapter President Sara Walden and Vice President Susan Arnholt led the service.
