NASHVILLE — Brown County came close in the second set, but Owen Valley posted a 25-14, 26-24, 25-18 Western Indiana Conference volleyball victory.
Zoe Jackson recorded 17 digs and one ace, and Aubree Denton had one block and one ace to lead the Eagles (0-3, 0-3). Riley McCoy pounded eight kills, Grace Johnson notched 11 assists and Hailee Darnell served one ace.
Also for Brown County, Darnell tallied seven kills and three assists. McCoy had seven assists and nine digs, and Dylan Lucas added eight digs.
