BEDFORD — Jennings County posted its first boys tennis win of the season, a 3-2 victory Tuesday at Bedford North Lawrence.
Parker Bales beat Jackson Corey 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Ty Zohrlaut topped Asher Thompson 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Panthers (1-3). Cole Skinner and Brady Sentz defeated Neal Patel and Orion Hill 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Jennings’ Luke Napier retired after dropping the first set at No. 2 singles 6-2 to Braxton Fugate. Asher Moril and Lucius Stidham fell to Micah Carter and Wyatt Corbin 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
