A few sporting events have been postponed or pushed back because of heat.
The Columbus North vs. Columbus East cross-country meet scheduled for today at Ceraland has been postponed. A makeup date has not been determined.
Today’s North at East boys tennis match has been moved back from a 4:30 p.m. to a 7 p.m. start.
The Bloomington North at East boys soccer game now will have a 7:30 p.m. JV start at the BCSC Soccer Complex. The JV will play a half, and the varsity will follow at around 8:30 p.m.
The Columbus North at New Albany boys soccer game has been pushed back from a 5:30 p.m. to a 6 p.m. JV start. The varsity will follow at around 7:45 p.m.
The IU Columbus women’s soccer game scheduled for today against Cincinnati-Clermont has been canceled. The IUC men still will play Cincinnati-Clermont at 7 p.m. at Richard Wigh Soccer Complex.
Also, Hauser’s girls soccer game against Rushville scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Oct. 3.
