MADISON — Madison won all five matches in straight sets Thursday to hand Columbus East a 5-0 boys tennis defeat.
Tyler Ernst fell 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Owen Kirk lost 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Michael Reed fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (1-6).
East’s Trevor Ernst and Micah Wettschurack lost 7-5, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Cooper Harry and Carson Hartsook fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
