Eagles blank Wolfpack, improve to 2-0

NASHVILLE — Brown County exceeded its win total from all of last season when it posted a 24-0 victory Friday at Crawford County in a game that was called at halftime because of lightning.

Noah Lewis found Kody Shugars for a 20-yard touchdown for the Eagles (2-0). Quentin Bell ran 10 yards for a score and hit Landon Scott for a 70-yard touchdown.

Lewis ran for two 2-point conversions and threw a 2-point conversion pass to Quentin Bell.

“We had some breakdowns defensively,” Brown County coach Tony Bell said. “They ran the ball pretty well against us. Offensively, we were able to get some things going early and forced some turnovers in the second quarter.”
