TRAFALGAR — Edinburgh picked up its first volleyball win of the season Saturday, taking its third of three matches in the Indian Creek Invitational.
The Lancers fell to Martinsville 25-12, 25-15 and Indian Creek 25-17, 25-15 before beating Waldron 25-17, 27-25.
Kenna Streeval recorded 15 kills and 44 digs, and Kinzie Purvis notched 33 assists and five aces to lead Edinburgh (1-12). Gracelyn Adcock had eight blocks.
Also for the Lancers, Elliott Smith tallied five kills and seven blocks, and Adcock and Gracie Lawson each pounded four kills. Purvis had seven blocks and 19 digs, Elizabeth Hernandez contributed 35 digs and Streeval served three aces.
