Shenandoah stops South Decatur over two days

MIDDLETOWN — South Decatur had to travel to Shenandoah twice in two days and took a 53-22 defeat.

The Cougars trailed 20-0 with 1:20 left in first half on Friday night when the game was suspended because of lightning. The game resumed and was completed Saturday afternoon.

Corbin Johnson ran for close to 200 yards, two touchdowns and two 2-point conversions for South Decatur (0-2). Jayden Jackson-Ray ran for the other touchdown.
