NORTH VERNON — Southwestern (Hanover) won three matches in straight sets Thursday to pull out a 3-2 boys tennis win at Jennings County 3-2.
Parker Bales topped Braden Helton 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (1-5). Cole Skinner and Brady Sentz topped Max Joseph and Colton Deputy 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Jennings’ Ty Zohrlaut fell to Braxton Lewis 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, and Luke Clapp lost to Luke Morrow 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Luke Napier and Asher Morin fell to Brady Cook and Talon Wynn 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles.
