NASHVILLE — Columbus East pulled out its second boys tennis win in as many days, a 3-2 victory Wednesday at Brown County.
The Eagles (0-7) won both doubles matches, but the Olympians (3-6) swept the singles matches.
East’s Tyler Ernst beat Owen East 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Trevor Ernst topped Aubric Winn 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Micah Wettschurack defeated Jax Anderson 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Brown County’s Trevor Shields and Jax Burt beat Owen Kirk and Michael Reed 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. Robert Webb and Jack Keen topped Jonas Newell and Cooper Harry 6-0, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
