A 40-year-old man who died in the parking lot of Indiana University Columbus on Wednesday has been identified as Andrew Shoaf of Columbus, Columbus police said Thursday morning.
Columbus Police Department spokesman Skylar Berry said detectives are continuing to investigate. “So far, I can say that no foul play is suspected,” he said Thursday morning.

The Columbus Police Department announced Wednesday night it is investigating the death of a 40-year-old local man that occurred in the Indiana University-Columbus (IUC) parking lot, 4601 Central Ave., that occurred Wednesday.
IUC was briefly put on lockdown. However, there is no danger to the public and the lockdown was lifted. Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstance of the man’s death.
No further details were immediately available.
