NASHVILLE — Brown County claimed a third-set supertiebreaker at No. 1 doubles, but Owen Valley claimed a 4-1 Western Indiana Conference boys tennis win.
Trevor Shields and Jax Burt beat Kyvan Manning and Adam Samick 6-2, 4-6 (10-6) at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles (0-8, 0-3).
Brown County’s Owen East fell to Rhet Heckman 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Audric Dunn lost to Sean Goss at No. 2 singles, and Logan Peck fell to Kolby Brown at No. 3 singles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Robert Webb and Jack Keener lost to Alex Livingston and Hudson Charles 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
