EDINBURGH — Southwestern (Shelby) won three matches in straight sets Thursday to claim a 3-2 Mid-Indiana Conference boys tennis win at Edinburgh.
Braden Cox beat Kentley Gasser 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (0-4, 0-2). Brinnyn Moss and Raiden Stanley topped David Coulston and Caleb McDonald 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Edinburgh’s Bailey Totten fell to Kyle Beck 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Matthew Burton lost to James Oliver 6-4, 7-5 at No. 2 singles. Rylan Londeree and Braylon Lenkner fell to Chris Cecil and Jackson Burcham 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
