The free Columbus Pride Festival took place Saturday at Mill Race Park, featuring more vendors entertainment, food trucks and activities than ever before.

The event, which began in 2018 by then-high school student Erin Bailey, attracts an estimated 2,000 or more people annually for music, food, a drag show, a variety of vendor wares and more.

The gathering “exists to unite Columbus as one community that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusion for all, and celebrates LGBTQA+ residents, allies, and their families,” according to the mission statement on the event website at columbusinpride.org.
