Columbus Christian bounced back from a Southern Roads Conference volleyball loss to Pleasant View Christian on Friday with an SRC sweep of Cannelton on Saturday.
The Crusaders (3-6, 1-1) beat Cannelton 25-16, 25-23, 25-18. Bella Frederickson led Columbus Christian with three solo blocks and five aces, while Emma Murray pounded six kills, Abby Dora recorded five assists and Emma Rice notched 10 digs.
Also for the Crusaders, Paige Harden tallied four kills, seven digs and three aces. Mara Nickerson had four kills, and Murray added seven digs.
Columbus Christian was coming off a 25-12, 25-15, 25-18 loss to Pleasant View Christian. Murray led the Crusaders with nine kills, six digs and one ace.
Dora recorded six assists and one ace, and Frederickson and Nickerson each had a block assist and Harden and Emma Rice each notched six digs. Frederickson also pounded three kills, and Nickerson added three assists.
